Overview

In the OctoXLabs 3.0.0 release, we introduce aggregated application vulnerabilities and user discovery capabilities via Active Directory. These enhancements provide users with increased security operational capabilities.

Vulnerability Management

  • Vulnerability Service:

    • Our vulnerability service is now active. CVE Scores are calculated for each application during every discovery, enabling users to display and search all application vulnerabilities in a single screen.

User Inventory

  • Discover Users with Active Directory:

    • Users can now discover and manage users in their systems using Active Directory. This feature allows for easy search and query creation for users.

API (Application Programming Interface)

Hotfixes

  • Fixed Software Architecture in Manage Engine Desktop Central:

    • Addressed issues with software architecture in Manage Engine Desktop Central.

  • Fixed Netbox IP Field:

    • Resolved problems with the IP field in Netbox.

  • Fixed Nessus Vulnerabilities:

    • Corrected vulnerabilities related to Nessus.

  • Fixed MBAM-SCCM Connection Test:

    • Resolved issues with the connection test between MBAM and SCCM.

New Adapters

  • Splunk:

    • Introduced support for Splunk adapter.

  • Tenable IO:

    • Added support for Tenable IO adapter.

Major Features

  • Create API User:

    • Users can now create an API user in user settings, allowing interaction with OctoXLabs through APIs.

  • Display Vulnerabilities in Application Inventory:

    • Users can view vulnerabilities directly in the Application Inventory for more comprehensive security management.

Minor Features

  • Delete Reports:

    • Added the ability to delete reports for better data management.
